Hi, I’m Traci, the founder behind Gift & Galaxy World.

I’m a proud single mom of two incredible boys who have grown into two wonderful young men. Being their mom has been the greatest joy of my life and one of the biggest inspirations behind this business. Family, love, and meaningful connections are at the heart of everything we do here.

A Lifetime of Helping People Celebrate Life’s Moments

For nearly 20 years, I was part owner of a family-owned floral shop in West Michigan. During those years, I witnessed firsthand how powerful a thoughtful gift can be. Whether it was flowers celebrating a wedding, honoring a life, or simply brightening someone’s day, I learned that small gestures can create lasting memories.

Living in West Michigan — home to one of the largest multi-level marketing companies in the world — also gave me the opportunity to work in customer service supporting some of their highest-level distributors. Later, I moved into technical support for one of their partner stores, helping customers navigate technology and ensuring they had the best possible experience.

Those roles taught me something incredibly important: great customer service is just as important as the product itself.

Experience in Fulfillment and Online Retail

I also spent several years working in warehouse operations, where I learned the ins and outs of order fulfillment for both business-to-customer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) orders.

This experience helped me understand what customers expect when they shop online — fast processing, careful packaging, and reliable delivery.

That knowledge continues to guide how orders are handled at Gift & Galaxy World today.

Creativity Has Always Been Part of My Life

Creativity has always been close to my heart. In recent years, I’ve had the opportunity to design several craft projects for my sister’s crafting website, something that allowed me to continue sharing creative ideas and inspiration.

But life had another challenge in store for me.

I am also a two-time breast cancer survivor. The second time I was diagnosed, it was stage 4 breast cancer. While I’m incredibly grateful to still be here today, the treatments left me with neuropathy, which has made many of the hands-on crafting projects I once loved more difficult.

Rather than letting that stop my creativity, I decided to take a new path.

I turned to ecommerce as a way to continue designing and sharing meaningful gifts with others.
